My mom was cool about church. She still thinks she is a good Catholic, hasn't been to mass except for funerals and weddings since 1972, but she understood me not wanting to go when it was discovered I didn't need to make Confirmation. 0 Ours was Wednesday afternoons, twice a month. We got let out of school a couple hours early to attend. We were shuttled directly there from school via special bus pickup so not to skip classes either.
We're Roman Catholic of the Eastern Right - like the Greek church - and we make confirmation along with being baptized. Communion was done "normally". That whole communion thing is creepy. Little girls in wedding outfits. WTF? I have no idea what you're talking about so here's a bunny with a pancake on it's head
