April 23 is the projected date of my car coming in. Got the VIN and all that good stuff. Someone on one of the club pages asked someone else if they had the VIN he could show them the car being built. I asked if he would do the same for me but that was ignored Sad Would love to have seen that.

So, because the car is coming in 2 days after I wanted to go to Autocross school I have to wait until June or july to take that school out in Philly instead of here at the Meadowlands.

Now I'm looking for a reliable little car like a Spitfire or Fiat Spyder - something small and handy for this

Just an FYI, those are mutually exclusive.  The word 'reliable' cannot in good conscience be applied to either of the two you mentioned.

I had a '62 Spitfire and had no issues with it. Was in pretty good shape too until some little douchebags vandalized it to the point of no return when I was at work. Sad

I saw a couple older ones in the videos from the club so they are used. I want something low to the ground and handy for this. If I can't find one of those I'll look into something like a little Mazda Miata or some other skateboard with a seat and steering wheel Smile

LOL that shifter is creative!

Looks nice LK, but I have to hold off on the car for now. I want the mustang first and hopfully it'll be nice out Sunday and I'm heading to AC to watch my friend Carlton have a go and see this for myself first. They do have a classic car category though! I might have better luck finding a cheap little mazda miata. I dunno. I'm not sure I can really afford this whole hog yet, so for now, I'm going to be a spectator.
