So while at Costco for the sake of it, I priced snow tires for the mustang. FML - $280 EACH

That's more than good tires for the truck cost.

Top it off, they will not put them on the rear only. They insist that fronts must go on. FRONTS DON'T FIT. They refuse to hear it. Guess who is not getting to touch my car? That's right.

So it's time to call Bobby at Tranz Connection and see what he can hook me up with. Plus I need to run by Ford and show them what proper stripes look like and I'll talk to service while I'm there.

I put snow tires on my previous truck as it was 2wd. I put all 4 on. It helps, and then the sets of tires wear evenly. The new truck doesn't need any snow tiers. It will go through pretty much anything.

Soooo I went to Ford to have them see what good properly done stripes look like and I'm told by the very man who said that they don't fit on the fronts that they certainly do. Really? Matt heard him too. Asshole.

Anyway, ford's pricing is not much better.

Matt's going to ask a few people he knows and I know a few other places besides Bobby to ask.
I don't need good, top of the line snows. I just need cheap shit to get me through any big snow days. The car doesn't go out much, I haven't even put 6K miles on it since I have it and if we didn't go to Maryland in May, I'd probably have less than 4K on it now. If I drove a lot in really bad weather I can see spending.

Those are snows? Description says standard brakes. I guess it makes a difference - I have the Brembo brake package.
