sandpaper is too abrasive then suddenly its not enough please listen to a fucking professional amateur knife/axemaker, redneck, mooshiner.

ketchup also can clean oxidation but it works better on copper just use straight vinegar and let it soak a month the PH level will not cause more rust it will soften the oxidation as i previously stated.

I wont lie i used a sandpaper drum on my dremel to get the rust out of one of the pits. please don't hate me?

I think i may just leave be pits be they're growing on my but I want all the discoloration gone as much as possible.

The pitting on the sword gives it a nice unsophisticated raw barbarian "it's a tool....shut the fuck up" look. If you can remove the oxidation from them or at least halt further corrosion it makes for an awesome appearance!

Put 2 good edges on it and VIOLA......."Barbarian Chic" worthy of Attilla The Hun!
