0 The word "cark" is an old word, which comes from old Norman word [i]carken]/i], and almost certainly followed the Norman conquest of the Saxons in 1066. To Cark means to 'burden' or to 'load down', but like with all things, when Americans get with something they manage to bastardize it even further.

I have seen them using it in internet conversations for a long time.
