I just checked her out on Google, and she looks great at 54. The nice thing about her is that she ages gracefully, because she takes care of herself. Most beauties seem to fall apart all at once.

Lindsay Lohan is one example I am going to follow. After she manages to ingest any, and every, substance that will tend to destroy her largest organ(her skin), I am going to get great satisfaction at watching another idiot who threw it all away. And all her fault too.

Goddamn Ford dealer! I wait a full week for some touch up paint I ordered - for $12 freakin' dollars at that. I wanted the spray paint, and for a good reason but they give me this crap thing with an auto load brush applicator. Less than an ounce of fucking paint! Needless to say I made sure they know I feel ripped off. They tried to tell me it's a special color. Bullshit. The car is white - that's not even a color. I then explained to them that nail polish is exactly the same as touch up paint and I've been using that on my truck for years.

Then i go to Pro Cat - my usual mechanic and my heart sinks when I see that idiotic meathead still working behind the counter. I wanted to have them check the heater that isn't working. This imbecile - and I call him this because of the fiasco with the truck last summer. Dumbass was stumped because the hub locks on the 4x4 turned in opposite directions and he thought it was broken. Idiot. Don't get me started - I can go on and on about his idiocy.

Anyway, I tell them what I did to install the radio and he tells me it's going to cost at least $100 to test the wires. Ain't going to happen. I tell him exactly what I did and that I have the power hooked up with the ABS and Traction control because it's a 'switched' circuit. meaning it only works iwth the key in the ignition as it should so not to kill the battery.

Dumbass begins to tell me that I killed the cars computer because I did that. Are you shitting me? Do I really have stupid written across my head? He tells me that sometimes the computer is tied into other things. I assure him that NO manufacturer is going to tie a computer in with a safety feature like ABS and traction control. Never mind the fact that EVERYTHING but the heat in the car is working.

I walked out. We'll figure this out somehow on our own as soon as Matt has a night off from side jobs.

Oh man, I want to smack anyone with a glittery phone like that!

Air kisses, kisses from people you hardly know, hugs from those you hardly know.

People asking me to hold their infant. If I wanted to be puked, pooped or peed on I'd ask to hold the thing, or find a frog and pick that up. Frogs always pee on you, just like babies.

Oh and back to the meat head at Pro Cat - You know I asked him if there's any way to tell if one of the relay's is bad. He's telling me he has to test every wire in the car. I tell him he's not understanding me, I can tell a fuse is bad because I pull it and i can see the filament is busted. Is there any way to tell a relay like that? He insists it costs $100 to do that kind of test.

BULLSHIT. There has to be a way to tell a relay is bad. I know you can hear clicking if some of them are bad. Had that with the truck once. There's no way someone will make it so that you have to spend hundreds to test a two dollar item.

Yea, it's called using a multi-meter to see if power runs through it, or some points and not the others. Takes like a minute to do that, looking for continuity - you'd have to hook it up to whatever powers it though in order see if the relay switches, but it's not hard.

You already fixed it, but yeah you can check if a relay is good. It is most likely a SPST relay, they are the simplest. You need check voltage across the switched legs. When they relay is de-energized, you should read nothing. When it is energized, you will read voltage. 12V if it is just a relay for say the heater, could be 5V if it is in the computerized side. But I would check the voltage on the other side too, to see if your switching current is there.
