I love wide angle lenses. Obviously not a fisheye, but most probably an 18mm lense, or thereabouts of a bend in the Grand Canyon.

Beautiful option to get lots of picture in.
I found my house on Google maps in a fish eye option. I liked the look of it and almost thought 'I would like to buy that house' until I realized I had!
Filter lens and tweaking does so much to improve a shot even when it already looks good

A guy took this in the morning. I live in the very immediate area of the scenery (I literally can see the mountains from my house and they are not far). It's things like this that make me love being home all the more. I see stuff like this every morning I wake up and tramp off to campus. I just wish I had a camera like this fellow did to catch some of these images myself.

This was Downtown Denver this morning on my way in. I am planning on running it through Photoshop this weekend, getting rid of the power lines in the foreground cropping it etc. This is just the raw picture from my cell phone.

That's nice. It's like the city is bathed in gold. On the local NYC morning show the traffic helicopter often talks to the show hosts and shows the city with the sun coming up over it and it looks like NYC is glimmering with gold. I tried to find a photo online but I can't find one that does it justice. I should pause the TV and take a picture when they do it.

OY SNOW! It's been so warm here I have widows open all week. People are walking around in short sleeves and no coats. VERY unusual for this area this time of year. They're saying its due to a strong El Nino.

It's just our normal wacky weather. Last week I literally took the bike to work 3 times. One day the high was 68. Today it is supposed to top out at 22.
