Matt's at another sleep study. I got home about 40 minutes ago from dropping him off. I have to get him at 6. Fuck me. I'm wide awake and it's an 40 minute drive up there to get him.

He's doing that C-pap machine test. They told me that thing was quiet... BULLSHIT. It's just as loud as his snoring. I don't see how anyone can sleep with that thing on their face.
This is the thing on his face now:

The machine sounds like a constant hiss and hum and you can hear it above the TV and talking in the room and surrounding rooms.

I keep dying in my game. I've got to learn to slow down and not rush things!

Hannibal Lector?

Friend of ours has sleep apnea and needs to use an oxygen mask at night. He got married last year and goes camping (needs an electric hook-up in the tent) no one has said the machine is noisy though

They give him oxygen? Here those machines are just plain air.

I think Matt is allergic to the silicone. His face has a lovely ring around his snoot and a red bar on his forehead. I washed the mask and it says size small. I think the girl is a moron and didn't fit him properly. In fact, I'll bet that is the case.

So when I picked him up this morning, I asked if he snored with it on. She gets all bitchy saying she can't say as it will compromise the protocol. Fuck that.... like his snoring and these test results are some kind of Federal secret? Seriously now.

Stupid bitch. She freaked him out too. He was sleeping, and he wakes up and she's hovering over him adjusting something. He must have knocked off one of the wires. I'd have slugged her out of an involuntary reaction!

Rightfully CPAP machines are to treat sleep apnea. Although they DO help alleviate snoring they are a damned expensive and complicated way to do it.

If Matt doesn't have sleep apnea then fuck the CPAP!!!!!!!

Have you tried Breathe Right strips or Snore Ease spray?

LK, we're WAY past the breathe right strips, which don't do squat.
They say his snoring is due to apnea - I'm not buying that though. I don't think they had a good enough study to know if he stops breathing. I've stayed up enough times to KNOW he does not stop breathing in his sleep. They don't believe me. A restless 2 hours on a sleep study seems to be enough for them. Again, I call bullshit.

It's the cpap or surgery at this point. I've had surgery on my sinuses - where they need to cut on him is going to be really painful - worse than sinus surgery. We're trying to avoid that at all costs.

Twist, we're already taking turns with the couch. I wind up there more often than he does.

I gave myself a hair cut yesterday, mid drinking. The back is all fucked up I noticed somehow. There is a big strip that I missed. So I have to straighten it out tonight.
