I rode my bike today until my legs burned and then I rode some more and made them turn to jelly. I will do it again tomorrow.

It's finally a gorgeous day. AC is turned off and a lovely breeze is blowing through the house.

It has been a nice day here too, no riding for me though, I mowed grass and got my garden ready and stuff.
I did get to go out and ride last Friday with one of the bike instructors from the gym. That chick is strong, that's about all I have to say about that.

I got a few appointments in the morning and then come home to garden a little and maybe prep the pool to pull the cover off but I'm going to go out for a couple hours after that again. I lost a lot of ground while it rained all freakin' month.

Banghead My bike has a flat! Two rides and I go out to ride today and see it's flat.

A trip to the bike shop is needed too and I can't do that since Matt has the truck when I need it!

You need that kit, tire levers, a new tube, a patch kit. If the tires seem to be prone to getting flats try tire liners, I think slime makes them, or even just put slime in the tires. I have slime in a couple of my mountain bike tires and have never gotten a flat. I don't even know if the shit works or not, I've just never had a flat on them.
I have a set of liners in a bike with sucky tires on it, although I have not used the bike enough to know if they work or not either.

Or........as always, money talks, get some kevlar belted tires, likes schwalbe's or armadillos.

I was riding in a goddamn pine forest too. WTF? Something had to be under there to put a tiny hole because I rode home with no flat. It went flat overnight.

I got the wrong bike. I know it. He told me he would not order the women's frame and I am pretty sure that's what I got. There's no room to put anything! Even my stupid Schwinn tire pump doesn't fit. I got my water bottle holder for the stem today and that's good. At least I can use a decent bottle now. But I need some kind of way to hold a repair kit and other essentials and I just can't figure where. An under-seat bag is too small. I need a rear carrier too. I like to take stuff with like towels and my phone (I've music in there), camera, eyeglasses and other things. FYI - towel is for drying feet after wading around in the ocean at the end of the beach trail if I take that.

I had a set of those liners ages ago. I actually got them in Kmart and they work nicely. I don't know what happened to them. LOL I could put my crappy Huffy tires on. Never got a flat with those! Rofl (sees Twist cringing at the thought)

I heard about the slime, think I even saw that in Kmart too. I'll ask about it at the shop when I let them look at the bike. I have some chain rubbing going on on the front derailleur that wasn't there the first ride and I need a seat badly. I am now despising the seat I got.

Matt promised to take me up tomorrow.

Get a rear rack and a set of small bags.

Or a rack and a trunk bag.
