I can't figure that stand over height thing on that damn chart. The stupid numbers at the top in bold (bike size i guess?) are wrapped and clumped and the table on line "J" is in what? centimeters? Some fucking foreign measurement? Help me here! LOL I'm a freakin' retard with numbers.

Oh sweet! checked that site of yours for a dealer nearby and my local bike shop is the first on the list!

I think the measurements are probably in centimeters. Your inseam is pretty much it. What I have done is measure from the floor and actually hold a board or something like it was a cross bar on a bike and see how it would be.

Yup, best thing would be if you can find that bike at the shop and check for size there.
I'm thinking that upgrading to disc brakes may not even be possible. I think the frame has to be set up for discs as well as the wheelset. I don't own anything with disc brakes, (except my car) so I'm no expert.

Well I'm going to take a trip to the bike shop over the weekend with printouts of the bikes. I was checking on your link that you gave me from the Fuji site and the Nevada 3.0 is looking mighty sweet.

I'm figuring that the bike is going to arrive minus the front wheel and pedals and handlebar and I'll have to put them together. If I don't unpack the bike, maybe they'll take a trade up to this 3.0 model.

Now I gotta think of a tie breaker question for a million bucks!

You mean marijuana cookies?Wink

What's going on with the won bikes?

I have my junker in the cab of my truck, gonna get some new cables for it and brake shoes tomorrow. Then all I need is my nashbar handle bars to show up and I'll get it back together.

I can do that.

The bikes - Matt's debating on the netbook. They tally the final points tomorrow and then we can claim whatever prize we want. I expect them to take about 6 to 10 weeks to deliver.

The million does not get decided and doled out until April 2011!

I guess this is why they are giving out such expensive prizes for this game.

OK I claimed my bike!
Matt claimed his netbook.

The bike is a size small (17") - I was measured the other day and I should take an XS (13") but I am pretty sure I can manage with the 17" frame and not be uncomfortable. I tried a small on that Giant bike over the summer and it was pretty comfy.

I asked about swapping the bike but the guy wasn't buying it.

Hey twist - if you had a choice between a Fuji or a Giant brand bike, - both which are spec'd out for exactly what you want in a bike, which would you take?

6 of one, half dozen of the other. If the components are all the same it doesn't matter.
A frame is a frame is a frame, all are made in China, most have the same guarantees.

I would choose a Giant though, just because the only bike shop in my small near by city sells them.
