I used to just stay up all night on 4 hours of sleep but I've gotten much better about getting back to bed and relaxing. Fifty Shades of Grey makes me instantly drowsy for some reason so I've been reading a couple pages of that a night.

I thought the fifty shades was supposed to make women horny, not sleepy.

Guess my tastes run a little more eclectic.

Or electric, if you will.

"SAWSTOP". Yea, I'd rather pay the $60 to get the saw machine fixed as well. This is really neat and I know a couple of people who could have benefited from such a thing.

Now THAT is a safety device that should be standard on all table saws.

I saw that quite awhile ago on TV. I agree with LK, it should be standard safety on all equipment with a blade.

I think the problem with his system is that it only works on certain table designs, the space inside the table has to have room to fit that safety mechanism. I am sure other manufacturers would eventually modify their tables to fit it.

The other thing to consider is people dont just cut wood on table saws, some people in the south and west use regular table saws for butchering meat. Just cutting other materials that might conduct electricity could put you out 60 bucks. Even contractors that decide to continue to work on their projects in bad weather and it drizzles could set the safety mechanism off. Its definitely a great idea but some things here and there would have to be figured out for it to be standard on most if not all table saws.

How about an easy solution? An on / off switch for the safety mechanism.
