You know we are still getting the ash settling here on the Jurassic Coast? Nothing like the Icelandics have though. I washed my car and within half a day it was covered in a fine film of grey powder. Every vehicle is the same. 0 The lightening is stunning. They were showing video of that on the TV last week and "live" it's so damn cool looking.
The horses are Icelandic Ponies. They do have a thicker undercoat and slightly longer guard hairs than horses in warmer climates. Those night time ones make you think, what planet is this on? Just saw on internet news that Ireland may have to close its air space again due to more ash coming their way  My friend gets home from Australia tomorrow! She should have been home on the sunday everthing kicked off. She will be home just in time for her daughters birthday too
