0 Doh! They should have the CUPS instructions on there too then, for people who would prefer to be able to print by IP as if it was a normal network printer instead of a shared printer

0 They might for all I know. Since my printer is not networkable, it was not brought up.

You can set a NORMAL printer up as if it was a network printer by using software called CUPS (Common Unix Printing System) to fake it  Thats why I say all of it should be included. hehehe.
