Yes, I know about the need for salt too. Not everyone can adapt to such heat extremes either. Matt's fried himself over the last two weekends. He's peeling from last week's burn and his sunburn got sunburned yesterday. He's beet red.
Why is it white people (and I mean WHITE and fair) think that if you get burned a couple of times it will make you tan better? All that does is make you sick. My ex used to say if he gets burned it'll turn tan. My advice is if you're milky white it's a hint you don't belong in the sun without something protecting your skin.
