You should be able to feel it get lighter in the front, I would be surprised if you couldn't.
Yeah, the other car had that feel too, but this one is double that punch. Not many dealers allow a test drive on the new mustangs, but if you can, go play around with a GT or if there's a GT Premium on the lot all the better. You'll never get them to let you test a Shelby though. At least around here they won't.
A lot of thought went into this year's model and that includes moving the stupid trunk release away from where your hand rests by the shifter! I can't tell you how many times I popped the trunk while driving and had to pull over to close it.
