We're working on the roof instead of going to my moms. I'm making a big dinner of lamb I'm going to feed the guys helping out on top of paying them.
Know what really sucks? We had to hire two guys to help because no one showed up to help. That's one friend who is going to be ignored next time he needs me to desperately pick up the phone because he has no place to live for a few weeks. Thank god for Craigslist. I put the ad in at 2 and had two guys hired by 3. Now I don't have to hump shingles to the dumpster all day. I'm too old and too tiny for this shit.
