0 Yes it's all the same online. I don't play the online though, it just isn't that fun to me. I enjoy the solo campaign, where I'm an ass kicking maniac. I've already gone from the 400,000's in ranking up to less than 100,000 ranking [which is done by wealth in your solo campaign], and I'm only at like 58% completion!
