What's really fucked up is that he had been on a sex offender list since his conviction and jail time in the '70's. This makes it so no LEO needs a warrant to search his property. None of them ever even took a quick look-see around the place.

I still cannot believe neighbors were never afforded an opportunity to snap a photo, get more intel by spying etc considering how close together the houses and yards were!
