Twist,
We have quite a few privately owned fire engines and ladder trucks around here. They can be lots of fun if you enter them in parades for prizes or just to ride.
The chief at Pine Grove's North End Fire Co. has a couple of old engines. His Chevrolet/Howe gets used to fill swimming pools and his American La France is used as an additional auxiliary piece on large fire scenes as a supply pumper.
From what I read in the ad that bad boy could still be used as a front line engine for a rural fire company!

Those are some really nicely restored busses! I've always liked the double deckers. There are many over here that convert old motor coaches into campers.
