The first significant snowfall of 2012 has arrived. I've got about 6 or 7 inches on my back deck and there's supposed to be a little more to fall before it's over.

Mother nature is trying to fool my fig trees again. sunny and warm now for a few weeks and then bam freeze the new growth.

We got dumped on a few days ago but it's been so unseasonably warm that it started raining and it all washed away. It's raining again right now which is unheard of in January.

You should all be very happy you don't live anywhere in Alaska about now. One 300 mile dog sled race has already been canceled. I can just imagine them having to cancel The Iditarod this year over all this global warming.

That's what it looks like outside my windows today too. Snowed overnight and then turned to rain. Still raining and now the temps are going down... going to be a crystal ice world by morning.
I really wish we had a garage to work on the truck! Mustang ain't going anywhere and we can't change an alternator in this shit. I just hope the guy who fixed the electrical issue didn't screw up something that's going to be costly. Cross your fingers for a weird coincidence.

At least it'll a no work day when people cannot drive around for shit.
We got roughly 12" here over the last couple days. And right after that, it warms up and starts melting it. Fuck, I just wish it would stick around in it's pleasant glory for a couple of weeks, you know?
