It's Done, My boy is gone, now I have to wait till after dark to bury him. It's one of those He is not going anywhere but home things and home is where some gov. agency thinks his being buried at home is a bad thing.
I'm middle management Plant production manager, I use numbers to do my talking, and this moron owner doesn't get it.
I showed him a net loss of more than a 1/4 million last year because of some of his practices on the sales and trucking end, His response was it doesn't matter, then today he asked me for raw material in, finished product production figures and shipping totals so he can see why the plant is struggling. idiot I already told you!!

It's off to both Tastykake plants today then pick up some reworked cooking molds from the place we use to recoat them in West Chester on the way back. Easy day!!!!! If it weren't 16 frigid degrees out right now it would be even better.

No not a fleet trucking company, what it is is a bio mass type production facility, we have an in house trucking company(one of the owners also owns the trucking) which makes for some interesting conversations.
The poor SOB is in a real conflict of interest and is to stupid to know it, he tries to make decision for both companies which is an automatic screw up.

MORNING!
I'm only shouting to keep myself from nodding off back to sleep. Its my day off! I can't stop coughing and I want the car so I had to take the other half to work this morning through English drizzle, avoiding floods, lost foreign lorries, and cyclists wearing black clothing and showing only a 'flashy' light on the front. Then they wonder why they get knocked off from behind.

I hope the rain stops for you. Bike shopping - any shopping in the rain is miserable. Winter rain is worse. You get that chill in you that even a scalding hot bath can't soak out!

Let's see......I'm supposed to grab a trailer loaded with old used paper egg flats and take it to the farm that uses them for bedding insulation for their cows and then pick up eggs a mile from there and take them back to the plant.
Anyone wanna take bets that the trailer isn't loaded and I'll have to wait till the egg dock supervisor come in then wait some more till they load it and THEN after I go unload and re-load with eggs they will tell me when I call in the count that "when you get here grab a trailer and deliver some shit somewhere" thereby making what was supposed to be a short and early day into a late marathon?
Well....here goes nothing!

LK, you should get in the habit of calling ahead of time on runs like this to make sure the trailer is already loaded before you get there. Make up some like about a tight schedule. At the very least, you'll have them in the process of loading when you get there (hopefully).
