So today I got out for my ride.... I pass the tree where Mikki used to live and smile and keep riding on.
I'm alone today in the park. NICE. It was quiet and I had the trails to myself. I make it to the end of the road to the beach, sit a few minutes and start to head back. Just before the trail head I see this:

Just got back from another ride with Matt and we both saw the same deer in the trails
Weird how that shot makes her look so far away. I was maybe 25 feet from her.

How do you know it was the same deer? Did she have a name tag on or something?
Those deer all look alike to me.
Yeah, I would like a really good camera, one with a good zoom on it for stuff like that, or the odd chance that I see a naked chick or something.
I wish my old 35mm was a digital.

Well that was my phone that took that pic.
I know it was the same deer from the scar on her face and how skinny she is. The other deer I've seen in the park are nice and fat. She's a nice size though for a Jersey white tail. The ones around here have "shrunk" over the years.

Today I'm surprised my lungs have not exploded. It's nice out, low humdity and I don't know what is up but I feel like I haven't done any exercising EVER. My lungs felt like someone set them on fire from the get go. Kept forging on ahead anyway figuring it would work itself out but nooo..... I'm home 20 minutes and they are still burning.
Riding was a chore. I found it hard to pedal and I got tired easily. Kept forging on anyway and I pushed through the break stop at the beach. I think I sat for three mintues, got antsy and picked up some trash and then went on ahead.
I don't understand it. How can you ride daily for what? 4 weeks now and my physical condition seems to digress.

Forgot to mention that on Tuesday's ride with Matt we found someone's Boating Safety Certificate. You think I should send it back to him via snail mail or let the irresponsible twit suffer and get a new one?

If you are a really nice person go ahead and send it back, but probably without even a thanks. I would most likely toss it.
I'll tell you a secret, I have not been on a bike since I got in the car in Leesburg Va a couple of weeks ago.
I'm gonna do a 30 mile lions club ride tomorrow morning......I hope.
