My generator will power the whole house. BUT......it's not working right now because the module fried and the main breaker on it went as well and I haven't replaced them yet. I priced them and they will cost me $200 for the both of them. I can do the work in about a half hour but I haven't had the free cash to order the bitches.
*sigh* I need to shuffle some cash around and get those parts before the snow flies which is typically when we have power outages here.
At least with respect to flooding, the nearest water would have to flood to a depth of 142 feet before it MIGHT affect my basement. Yeah, like that's gonna happen! I'm glad that I live at the highest point in the valley (with the exception of my next door neighbor who is 10 feet higher).
