Lemon curry can be good too.

One of my bosses was from India and of course he knew the good spots to eat!

Hey, Checking in to say HI

Still seing the New years eve guy. He is really nice, we are having a good time together.
Not to sure what I should be doing with the house key yet. But I have it. Kind of odd to have a key to his house and not sure what to do. I guess that is what you call trust on his part. He also handed me his netbook to use. He said here you can use this if I'm not at home to check email and what not. Just make yourself at home.
I guess you can say we are just having a good time together.

Without going into boring and probably illegal details of my job, I'll use a car repair shop in the story instead...

So I got assigned to be on a "roles and responsibilities team" to define what scheduling does. A couple of people were saying the proper procedure is to check the paperwork for date stamps and a missed dotted I before letting the customer have their repaired car. I said I let the customer have their car and then checked for date stamps and missed dots. I was told that because I did this, a horrible crash could occur and that I had no work integrity. I couldn't seem to get the point across that we're in the business of providing our customers with their repaired cars, not to make them wait an extra day or more because of paperwork that I felt could be checked after the fact.

Really, work integrity? Thanks, bitch. The whole thing pissed me off.

Sounds like you have a paperwork nazi there Twills.

The guy across the table that was the most vehement about it had a face like he was trying to take a dump in his pants. He smiled once, and I couldn't figure out that he actually WAS smiling until he stopped doing it.

I wanted to punch him in the nose.

It must be frustrating when you work for/with a crowd of anal retentive dolts.

RE: The Completely Pointless Thread - Twitchin Kitten - 01-19-2012

this is their way of covering their ass. You were the one they gave that responsibility to and they didn't expect you to have a brain and actually understand what you're reading before releasing the item back to the customer. If they want their asses covered, they should do their own work.
