Just went and got the Firefox version 4.0 update. It certainly IS quicker!

It's OK, good browsers update often, unlike IE who gives you one set of shit code and let's all the bogeymen in.Just click Help > Check for Updates and it takes you to the update page.

Yah, I'm liking it. I lost a few themes and add ons but I will live without them. Well, maybe not my House of Blues. I hope they update that one soon.

I got a ton of work to do today - finally got that shit sorted out on a job I should have had done Wednesday. Now it's crunch time to get her set up and operating!

So we get the last minute idea yesterday to take a ride up to IKEA. I need a stupid $10 item and that's the only place I can find what I want.
So, off we go. Shopping around in the madhouse I locate my item. They have it in every size but the one I need
Apparently another trip is necessary.
Regardless - we got to eat Swedish meatballs and watch the planes take off and land from Newark-Liberty airport while eating
I spent another $100 bucks on some things, one of which was a nice heavy meat mallet, a new frying pan that looks and feels like Calphalon brand. If this tests out to be of equal performance, I'm back up there in a flash to stock up on more pots and pans of this IKEA brand! I'm desperate for some good pots and pans and was saving up to buy the Calphalon but at $550 for a starter set, it's really expensive. IKEA pots are $99 for the starter set. I can afford that and if it's the same quality - a bargain to boot!
Don't laugh - but a good set of pots and pans makes all the difference between a good meal and swill. Mom bought me a set of those Wolfgang Puck brand of pots and truth be known, they are utter JUNK. I hate them with a passion. Liquid food explodes in them, food burns and sticks and you can't use any abrasive to clean them or you kill the shiny finish (and the [non] no stick surface). So, to clean them you have to boil vinegar in them. Fucking pain in the ass! HATE these crap pots.
I got a cool alligator pillow for the couch in the kids department.
The kids department has a really cool swing and ladder and set of gymnastics rings you can bolt into the cieling in their room too! I'm sooooo tempted to get the swing! How much fun would that be to watch TV and swing? TONS! that's how much!
And guess what? China even owns the Swedes. Everything now from IKEA is made in China! Last time we were there just over a year ago everything said made in Sweden. Sons' of bitches are going to take over the whole world.
And today I had an eye doctor appt. I'm typing this with blurry eyes. They dilated my pupils and let me drive home like that! How damn long is it going to take for this shit to wear off?
