I used to play the Mechwarrior and Gundam games on the PS1 until I though I was a giant robot.
I also used to play the battletech rpg, with little minatures and dice and paper for fucks sake.
My favourite mecha game of all time was Adeptus Titanicus a Games Workshop table top mecha game set in the Warhammer 40,000 universe.
