RE: Water Car - Twitchin Kitten - 11-11-2011 I'm sure that by now, 30 years later, they could make it more efficient. Matt used to get Make magazine and I think I saw something in there where you can make your car run on two teaspoons of water for like 200 miles or something ridiculous like that. I'll have to see if I can dig it up. It was clunky though, totally took up a ton of space and looked like shit. That video I saw mentioned the inventor of this process was actually talking to GWB about getting the thing produced. This was around 2005 or so. I really wish I could dig that up again. RE: Water Car - Vizth Hal - 11-11-2011 i think mythbusters tested that, they couldn't get it to work. RE: Water Car - LKTraz - 11-12-2011 Is this the video you were looking for? [yt]A9bSXca6AHk[/yt] I had it in my files and loaded it up to YT. RE: Water Car - Twitchin Kitten - 11-12-2011 You know, I think this is the video. Funny how this proposal disappeared and no one has mentioned it for what? 15 years since he patented it? I think he was stopped in his tracks because this would give drivers and owners of cars to fuel up from their garden hoses and not have to spend a dime on gasoline. Someone's pockets are not going to be filled and that pisses off the government. No gas = no taxes. No taxes = less for the government to waste. RE: Water Car - Vizth Hal - 11-12-2011 http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/HHO_gas#HHO_gas I remember HHO from chemistry classes. It's ancient. |
