Those guys like to get up close and personal as in knife shivved through the ribs, knife slammed through the throat and ripped forward severing the trachea or the good old head twist snapping the neck and spinal cord.
A tap to the forehead is MUCH more "black ops" style. I think CIA creepy crawlies were also there and did the deed then gave the team 6 guys the credit.
But then I suppose we'll never really know now will we?

I have not heard that shit. The reports I've been hearing are fairly "fair" considering the whole situation.
I heard Obama give Bush a tiny bit of credit for setting the whole thing in motion back in '05 and to be honest, I don't give a fuck who got him as long as it was an American.
Trust me, it was a SEAL hit.
We'll get the whole thing as the gov't sees fit too. I mean, I'd love to know all the details but why tell the world how we operate? I'm sure that asshole will have it all out on Wikileaks anyway.

I hate to disagree, but two to the head, one to the chest is a signature of the US Navy SEALS. If Bin Ladin only had one in the head, somebody missed a shot. SEALS don't thrive on sneaking up and driving a blade into ones heart. Creepy Crawlies most certainly gave the intel, but again, it was the boots who did the deed! Team 6 spent time on the USS TR, and I got to know a couple of these heroes, my step dad was a SEAL back in Vietnam, so I think I can say that I know a bit about how they tick. Did I mention that I rang the bell while in BUDS? Just Saying.

I have to confess I'm drawn to skeptical cynicism about the whole thing (that's a change ain't it?). You know what - if it sounds like bullshit, smells like bullshit and looks like bullshit, then it's probably politics.

The council are really difficult about the garbage bins, have to be within 10ft of the road, lid shut, no recyclables, certain items in here and others in there and so it goes on. If you are lucky they will remember to come down your road and empty them
(they missed us every other week at the beginning of the year becuase they forgot to put our road on the list for the roto).

I'll defer to you on that one.
But one chest and one forehead tap IS a black ops signature. Generally the forehead is the first and the chest is an assurance shot. I know a few guys that don't really exist on paper and it appeared to me that this was one of their jobs but......I could be wrong.
We do agree that the creepys did the intel and likely ran an up close recon before the go decision was made.

Ahmadinejad now claims he knows the hit on Bin Laden was a political move to gain votes in the coming election and he has "precise knowledge" that the US Military has been holding UBL prisoner for a "very long time" before making this hit.
These remarks were made during an international conference in Tehran yesterday.
We need to double tap that asshole.
