You still missed something, or are misremembering events or order of events. Did you miss the whole thing with Brazil chick's Dad killing her Boyfriend or something? Nothing is out of place in the storyline if you've watched the whole thing. Which is why I still say you're either missing something or are just not remembering the end of last season correctly.

LAST SEASON ended with Fiona knowing about the wife. She took off with some other guy at the end. THIS SEASON Jimmy is hiding the fact he and the wife have any ties. Fiona knows the whole story about him being a South American drug lord and EVERYTHING.
I don't understand the secrecy this year. It makes no sense.

It makes perfect sense, he's hiding the fact that the Father came and killed the boyfriend. Duh. And that he has to go back into the husband role to get the bitch her Citizenship. You're just having your own mental issues, because no one else I discuss this show with thinks its disjointed the way you do.

I KNOW what the story line is this season.
I KNOW the father is here and all that bullshit you're repeating that I already acknowledged.
They are making it sound like this whole wife thing is a mystery to Fiona. I see no reason why Jimmy needs to hide it. I think they did this sleight of hand on purpose because of the whole thing about Fiona declaring how she trusts him at the closing of the show Sunday. They're going to build on that.
Anything else you care to argue over?

I never said the wife is a mystery.
I said he's hiding it because bsically because now he actually has to be the hubby again. Fiona was OK with it while the wife was off with her boyfriend Marco there. But if she has to share Jimmy, she wont like it. It makes sense to everyone else watching the show, what don't you understand about it?
Mental.
Also, the fact that Daddy-O will kill him if he doesn't follow the rules may have something to do with it.

This is my Dad's favourite series though he also loves the Danish murder mystery of which the name escapes me (sub-titled but worth watching)

It is, on Showtime just like the US versions. My GF just recorded an episode from their Season 4... where "Mandi" has a baby.
