Sounds just as ridiculous as the Bush hurricane steering machine that he used to direct Katrina and Rita. (Well that's what the left alluded to!)
I agree that this will drive prices up. The dirty little secret here is that without the flooding cycle the river valleys that are such rich farm land would not be so rich! The silt left behind is what makes for the really good soil.
These floods follow cycles ranging from 6 - 12 years.

flooding in Wisconsin will now be driving up the feeding prices for the Wisconsin dairy cows and that will increase their milk and cheese prices long term... the places effected are mostly portage and caledonia which may be too small of an area to seriously effect prices but it will be interesting to see.

OKay folks according to the news today... My predictions based on nature and the economy are correct... The news states ....cotton, corn, coffee are seeing a cost/expense rise of 30 to 40 % while waiting for the South American crops to come in. If the South American crops come in BAD WE ARE SCREWED..... Welcome to the restart of inflation... which didn't happen this year according to the AMERICAN Government in The AMERICAN society... however they are not paying MY FUCKING BILLS!!!!
The economy is currently flat, the food is getting more costly and no body can get credit WELCOME TO HOPE AND CHANGE.... AND they are seriously thinking of inflating money to cover debt.. HAHAHAAHAH THE US IS FUCKING GONE TO THE SHITTER.
