I google EVERYTHING. I even get teased about it at work because I can't carry on a conversation without rolling my chair back to check a fact about a movie or whatever.

The reason I'm curious is because I was accused at another forum of being some kind of freak for looking someone up on google. I'm not really understanding why that's so weird, I've even googled myself before.

Can someone explain why this is a bad thing? Do I need to go into some kind of rehab for habitual google users?

Why should you? Knowledge is power. I'm always running to the computer to check stuff out. I can't wait for tax time because I want one of those itty bitty laptops (net books) that fit in my purse to take with me everywhere! I know the Iphone can do that stuff but it's just too small.

Google is the answer to the question 99% of the time.

As well......visit the game room. Ya think "Google Fight" is there by accident?

Everything gets Googled here Crazy

Father in law was here today and Mark told his dad he googled his mothers name :doh2: He found another lady in the US.
I am aware the saddest thing to do is google your own name.

We google holiday trips to get an idea of cost and weather etc. I cannot believe how many people don't!
'We didn't know it was the rainy season' Kez

I use it for PIL (patient information leaflet) at work and study updates on drugs.

We use it for maps, directions, TV and trivia, gardening and motoring etc.
