Well since the brakes are determining what I can and can't do, I'm stuck. I don't even think that place in Lakewood that sells good used tires would have my size used.

I'm not messing with any tuning bullshit.

The difference is so slight that it wouldn't be noticeable unless your doing well over 100 mph. I believe both can be reprogrammed at dealer, I know a tuner usually can be modded to take the change into account but then you need to keep it attached all the time. I was going to suggest tirerack after reading your original post but see someone knew about the place. Discount tire direct usually has some very good pricing. If you pick tires and rims they mount and balance and ship free, I bought rims and tires from them when I had my old truck.

The only error in your post is that you do not need to keep a tuner attached all the time in order to account for tire diameter. The change is downloaded into the computer. Same as any tune you may install.

Or call this guy, new tires and stuff on it. Find out if it drives ok with the trans leak, offer him $600, stock up on transmission fluid and dump some of that fix a leak shit in it. Beat the shit out of it for 3 months and if it is still running re-sell it or if not, junk it.

Fuck, a V8 explorer? I'd buy it for that. The engine, and ECM is worth that alone.

That does look like a good deal. Not sure where Mystic Island is though, I'll have to look it up. With my luck, it's two hours away.

The tires might be worth that if they are really new.

Help!!!! I'm on CL and can't stop.
This one is just an hour or so east of me. I don't want it, but there is stuff out there.

My mechanic is awesome. He said I can get 17" rims with an offset for the brakes cheaply. Gave me the name of a guy to talk to. Won't even have to make adjustments to anything.
