Anyone watch the concert for Sandy relief last night?
We caught bits and pieces and recorded the whole thing so we can skip through artists we just don't give a crap about listening to.
We caught Adam Sandler doing a spoof on the Hallelujah song and the slide show was hysterical. If you're a native New Yorker it was even funnier.
It should be illegal for Mick Jagger to be in such good shape and stay so skinny.
Roger Waters is still an asshole. I'm surprised he showed up to help considering all his hateful spewing about America. He probably came for the glory. And gee, he was announced as a duo with Eddie Vedder and he let him sing one song. I can't say I was impressed with Eddie's singing of an Pink Floyd song. IMO it wasn't the right fit. He didn't have the same agony in his voice, which surprised the hell out of me because he's a very passionate singer.
The Who were amazing as usual. I was surprised that Townsend was playing a Fender and not the Les Paul. All the songs sounded so thin.
Courtney Love is an idiot. She bitched that Paul McCartney sang with Nirvana and said she would have approved if the late John Lennon sang instead. Really? HE's DEAD you stupid bitch. Go take another pill.
