I think not so much stupidity as attempting to send a message through the use of absurdity to highlight it.

Well he raised $15 million last night at a small fund raiser dinner at George Clooney's house. So he still has some legs. He's soliciting kids mostly on his "tours" around the country though. It's always easy to prey on the gullible and those who don't have.

The family of that kid Romney "played jokes" on is furious with Obama for this stunt. It was because the kid was gay, not just joking around. He's also dead.

The family wants it all to stop and go away. They say it was never an issue with him and Romney and if he were alive today, he'd say the same. But Obama using him as a political tool is pissing them off. I think he used the guy's real name too.

I hope they drag out what a shit Obama is for this when it gets later in the election season. Let people know - well the ones likely to listen and be influenced anyway.
