Anyone watching American Horror Story on FX?

Season 1 just finished and it wasn't the ending I expected! Now I can't wait for season 2 to come around.

I see a good ghosts vs evil ghosts thing beginning and Tate has been reincarnated through his son.

Who else watches and what do you think about it?

Ryan Murphy's the same guy that created Nip/Tuck which I loved to pieces for the first couple/three seasons but it went totally insane and stupid after that. He also created Glee but I refuse to watch that show just because the previews annoyed the ever lovin' shit out of me.

An article on msnbc quotes Murphy as saying that there will be a new cast and house next season so unhappily we probably won't be seeing any more of Tate. That kid's going places, he was FANTASTIC on this show and really cute too.

I enjoyed this show way more than I was expecting to, I can't wait for next season.

Never heard of Revenge. I also didn't watch those night time soaps in the 80's.

Now, why would they do a whole new cast and house? The left the last scene with that bloody child and his murdered babysitter totally making you think this is going to be Tate's murderous legacy continuing.

AND!!! They said the house was a doorway for some bigger evil to enter our world or some shit... how are they going to move this doorway? Or am I remembering this wrong. You know what a shit memory I've got.

OK, I figured that Vivien would have been shown where Violet's body was stashed once Vivien was dead. I'm disappointed. If the house were to be destroyed, the ghosts could no longer haunt it. That was said several times throughout the show.
Remember the Turk contractor who wanted to buy it and wreck it? Tate murdered him on Constance's command because of that.
Also, this seemed to be inconsistent... it was said time and again, if you died on the property, your spirit can't ever leave. Well, several times you saw Tate go next door, he murdered the Turk in the Turk's house and the man with half a burned face, who was murdered in the house, met Mr. Harmon outside off the property several times. Every time Vivien tried to take Violet away from the house, Violet mysteriously was back inside, unable to leave. Also, that's why Violet stopped going to school. Weird, inconsistent with stuff said throughout the series.

I could see where in that link you showed me how they can get away with a whole new story, but they left too much hanging for my curiosity to be satisfied!

The guy with half a face was actually still alive. He kept popping up in the most unlikely times and places and I was sure he was a ghost as well but he went to prison, remember? He martyred himself so Blanche Dubois, I mean Constance, wouldn't be blamed for her boyfriend's murder... I think, the plot's so freaking crazy, it's hard to keep track.

I'm not sure about Tate, I think he only wandered off the property on Halloween.

OK I didn't even think about the Halloween bit for wandering off.

I still think Mr. Half face was dead/ghost and prison was just a story he gave Harmon. I swear I remember Tate bragging how he killed him too. I could be wrong.

And Addie - I loved her! Why wasn't her ghost seen after she died? I thought she died on the property when Constance dragged her onto it from the street. Shit, what about that fucked up punishment closet she locked Addie in with all those mirrors! That woman is a freak.

Has anyone watched last weeks season premiere? Holy moly this season is creepy, warped and thrilling! Absolutely horrifying and Jessica Lange is awesome as the fucked up nun.
