Crap is the optimal word for this stuff! Tastycakes are nasty, dry little things that are so loaded with sugar they make your teeth zing eating them!

I never understood the sugared egg yolks for ice cream though. I think the only flavor that uses eggs is French Vanilla. I make my own ice cream sometimes and it's really very easy and has few ingredients unless you're out for something fancy.

I finally got to grab the pics of totes from my phone. I also got a couple of pics of the interior of my truck.

Do you own the tractor, LK?

Those totes look like they're just a couple inches too tall to stack double high. Wouldn't that save a trip for someone if you were able to stack two high or there really isn't a call for that much in one load?

The company owns the tractor. Believe me, if it was mine it wouldn't be a Mack! I much prefer Freightliners.

This is what I would own

You wouldn't want to double stack them when they're loaded. Too high of a center of gravity for vehicle stability and no, there really isn't a demand for that much product in one shipment. You can fit 22 of them in a 48' long 102" wide trailer. That makes for just over 44,000 lbs of product. The most I've ever hauled is 20 to a customer. That was to the bakery up by Twist's neck of the woods in Fredonia,NY.

I'll be dipped!!!!!!!!! We got us a diesel dummy amongst us!!!!!! I used to was one back when the moon was low on the horizon!!!!!!!! Thats WAAAAAAY to long for me to think about. My dad drove for better than forty years, my brother hauled swinging from Monfort to Boston and my daughter still does drive for J B Hunt.
If I had known grandkids were this much fun, I would have had them first.

Hey VTX.....I see that (ever so small) company name there!
J.B. Hunt = John Boy Has Us Newbies Truckin'.
(Yeah, there's other epithets for that too but this is the most polite one)
When J.B. was the ultimate training company it was Just Beginners Holding Up National Traffic.

I did the OTR thing for a bit with Direct Transit inc, Swift (only because they bought DTi, and Gainey Transportation Services. Also did a stint running expedited air freight from Farmingdale, NY to Elk Grove, IL (Chicago) with an owner operator friend.

Twitch......Yeah, that's a real nice Freightliner Classic XL. Not super flashy but just enough chrome and graphics to make it look nice. My chosen paint/chrome/light scheme would be the same but with yellow lightning bolts accented with an orange surround instead of the purple and grey swirls. BIG lightning bolt running diagonal on the sleeper side panel. That would go with my company name..."Thunderstruck Transportation"

Twist......I take it your company has the standard food industry policy of "No pictures inside the plant."?

You are correct LK, no pics in the milk factory.

Jammin, there are so many ways I could twist that lack of a long nose comment.Giggle
