0 People don't realize that when they drive carelessly that it isn't just putting themselves and any of their passengers at risk but they put EVERY other road user at risk as well.
As someone who drives for a living I see the results far too often. When the average person is out on the road, if they are observant, they will see others driving badly. When you get into a tractor-trailer you get a different perspective. You are up higher than in a passenger vehicle and as such there is a longer range view. Believe me, if you see things from that better vantage point you would be shocked to learn how much bad driving you don't get to see from a car or pickup truck. 0 I actually do not text or talk on my phone while driving. I see so much of that shit while on my bicycle it scares the fuck outta me. I pull the car over if I'm gonna talk or text.
I think talking or texting should be a felony, first offense.
