You can post ACTIONABLE alerts from ANY REPUTABLE animal welfare agency EXCEPT PeTA here.
DO NOT Post stories of animal abuses here. Stories do nothing unless there is a way to take action with lawmakers.
If you are interested in helping stop animal abuse, just follow the instructions in the link and write letters. (if from the ASPCA)
Believe it or not it works! I've written dozens of letters and my congressman has listened and he has sent me letters of how he voted on key issues in regard to whatever was at hand.
Our government isn't all bad and all you have to do is write a letter. The ASPCA formats the letter for you, finds your local official and leaves you a small section where you can add your own words to their letter if you want.
Please help the animals even if you do not live in the USA. You can put my zip code in if you want so you can write and help.
