employers don't fire people they fire themselves.
I do all of the hiring and firing, it never bothers me to fire someone if they are getting fired its because they failed not me.

True that the employee makes decisions that leads to them being dismissed. I still feel bad. I was failed by this person by doctoring time cards and doctoring commissions so they were stealing. Maybe if I did it more often it wouldn't be as hard. We also have a small business so we work closely with everyone. That's what made it hard, that they were dishonest and we had to let them go.
The worst part of being a business owner.
The person then justified doctoring the time cards. When I said, "You could have said there was nothing going on so I left"
They said, "Yeah, that would have went over well."

It sure as hell would have went over alot better than lying. WTF
