Moot question. These days, the toilet paper doesn't even make it to the roll--it just sits on the counter.

My kids seem to use an entire roll in one sitting so hanging up a roll that will probably be gone in hours seems like a waste of effort.

Actually, that's a good point.

I don't use the TP hanger anymore because of my son. If I have it on the hanger, he will go in the bathroom and yank the roll so it all comes flying off. So, mine sits on the counter as well for now.

What BRAND of TP to use though? Now that's a different matter entirely.

Scott Tissue - single ply - ONLY (or generic equivalent 1000 sheets per roll). Everything else is a rip-off.
