Yeah Don Imus wasn't a shock jock IMO.
Funny? Yes.
Irreverent? Oh very much so.
Shock? Eh, not so much.
The closest he ever got to shock was the "nappy headed ho" comment and in the end that was just an ill chosen racist(ish) blurt out. I say racist(ish) because had he been black the comment would have been completely ignored but let an old white guy say it....................
