What a sheltered life this kid must live.  Must be a serene existence when you have your head stuck firmly in the sand and are stroked and praised every time you fart.

Note:  I said existence as opposed to life.

Hmmmmm........methinks they are the right stuff for making the Eloi from H.G. Wells book The Time Machine!  But then again I suppose they were never "asked" to read that book as it would be "too disturbing" for them to bear.

They have been sheltered from everything in life that might upset them and when they are forced to face facts they are incredulous to find out that the world isn't as they believed it to be.

No kiddies, unicorns DO NOT exist, life IS NOT a bowl of cherries, there are winners AND losers, keeping score IS important (refer back to winners and losers) and you ARE NOT SPECIAL!  You are individuals which differs from being "special" in that unless you stand out due to extrordinary skills that eclipse the norm, you are simply a unique individual mix of chromosomes with a unique DNA signature.
