Sounds kinda like our quarterly "driver safety meetings".
DOT regs require that we have a minimum of 1 driver safety meeting each quarter and law dictates that every driver attend at least 1 each quarter, Ok fine.
OUR meetings DO cover CDL driver safety (10 minutes on average of a 3 hour meeting) and in general around
4 - 5 minutes of report from the truck shop on maintainance, but the bulk of the meeting is taken up by profit/productivity from the plant reports, PLANT safety issues, self back patting over OSHA at the PLANT.....you get the picture.
