why is it whenever I am expecting a package from a FedEx delivery, it takes forever to get to me? People rag on the post office all the time, but I get letters and packages faster and cheaper than UPS or FedEx. UPS is leaps and bounds better than FedEx too, but both private carriers are now really expensive compared to the PO when years ago it was the other way around. For the prices they charge, you'd think they would be swifter.
Look at all the hops this takes. When I track a package from the PO it goes from start to the state it is to be delivered in and then to the local PO for delivery. Each hop here requires processing and then shipping. Seems like a giant waste to me.
