What a difference a phone call can make!
I called my cell phone company to ask about a few things. My daughter's line is up for a new phone so I asked when the other lines on the plan would be up. Well they won't be till August BUT......since MaryPat had to replace her phone last month (her other one shit the bed) it was a moot point for her line.
Now I have 4 lines on the plan. I have unlimited everything including data, MaryPat has data added but for phone calls she is on shared minutes with Barb and Max. They have just the shared minutes and no data.
After calling the customer service rep and I figured out that it would be cheaper to change the whole shebang to 4 unlimited plans billed to one account.
End result? All 4 lines will have unlimited talk, text and data and it will cost me $40.00 a month LESS!
On top of that.......the phone for Max's line will cost me a hundred bucks. I can buy the same phone outright from my provider but they want $350.00 when it's not up for a new phone (holy shit). I can get the exact same phone on ebay for $189.00 and I was going to get 3 of them after my tax refund comes in but now I only need 2 at that price so I end up getting 3 of them for $90.00 less than I was going to pay.
Can't beat that with a big old stick!!!!!!!!!
