I think it could be.
I remember my 7th grade math teacher telling us when he was in college they wanted to do that sulfur in water trick our science teachers did but bigger. They took a rock of sulfur as big as a car tire down to the stream and dropped it in and the blow-back was strong enough to knock 5 guys on their ass.
So, that guy in the video said too much magnesium but it could have been the sulfur.
Now we need someone with a better education on chemistry to chime in!
