Yes, of course, very difficult to invade :p
At least you can actually walk away from the sea and get a different view (fields/moors/mountains) without that little glimpse of the sea in the corner of your eye.

21 miles isn't even long enough to run a full marathon on! Do you know they have to run part of the route twice?

I fell in love with Bermuda, I love islands and I agree I would live on one (smaller than UK) but although Sara has no trouble in her insular world under Gibbs Lighthouse after awhile even she has to fly somewhere, and that is the only way off with any speed, with a hurricane looming.

Our 'bestest' friends live on Isle of Wight all of a 3/4 hour ferry from Southhampton. After trying to do a couple of mercy dashes to the mainland they are finding that 'lovely desert-island feeling' was leaving them a bit jaded. They had to force themselves onto the winter ferry in February to get to us in daylight, there are only three crossings.
The Isles of Silly are beautiful, almost equal to Bermuda, they use real money and have tropical weather and all of an hour or so from Lands End. They also have crap winters.
