My CBT ran out, it is only valid for 2 years Sad

I have to start all over again simply because I ran out of time failing in the wet last time and then not being well enough and not able to get the money together to pay for a DAS (direct access system).
Marc the instructor said I really should try to scrape the money together within the next year and try again (up to £1000)
I'm beginning to think the lady taking the test the day before may have the right idea £110 every 2 years is cheaper.
