I love working with Hattie (boss's daughter) on Saturdays.
She is working hard to hopefully complete her studies and train eventually as a Paramedic. She is a clever girl and full of fun and so very lively- so totally opposite to her quiet big brother.
She has started driving lessons, 'After all' she said 'If I'm to race through the traffic on blues and twos to an incident I better be able to do it well. All I can do at the moment is stall at junctions'
I told her after only two lessons that was possibly to be expected. She then said she was inclined to gravitate to the wrong side of the road.............
'Well, practice for the blues and twos! Most ambulances find themselves driving against the traffic'
Then I said something really stupid.
'What sort of car are you learning to drive?'
*she is going to give me the colour...I just know it....
'Oh- Hattie, please don't tell me it is blue!'
'It's a shiny sort of silver actually' she grinned' 'with big fetching red L 's on the front and back'
