Without going into boring and probably illegal details of my job, I'll use a car repair shop in the story instead...
So I got assigned to be on a "roles and responsibilities team" to define what scheduling does. A couple of people were saying the proper procedure is to check the paperwork for date stamps and a missed dotted I before letting the customer have their repaired car. I said I let the customer have their car and then checked for date stamps and missed dots. I was told that because I did this, a horrible crash could occur and that I had no work integrity. I couldn't seem to get the point across that we're in the business of providing our customers with their repaired cars, not to make them wait an extra day or more because of paperwork that I felt could be checked after the fact.
Really, work integrity? Thanks, bitch. The whole thing pissed me off.

Support mental health care... or I'll kill you.
